We’re excited to introduce our new BallerCam Apple Watch App, putting the most time-sensitive game actions on your wrist. Now, scorekeepers and fans can follow the game and capture key moments without constantly reaching for their phones. This app is now live for Volleyball with more sports on the way!
Simply put, the BallerCam Apple Watch app is a new way to score and mark moments if you're using your phone to film and you don’t have access to another device. You will see important details like the current score, quarter/set, and the game time in a format built for quick glances. It is designed for active use on the sideline, at a multi-field facility, or anywhere you want live context without breaking focus.
HOW IT WORKS
When you launch the BallerCam Apple Watch app, it connects through your paired iPhone and pulls your available games into a simple list. Live games are clearly labeled, and each card shows the teams, score, and current game state so you can jump into the right match fast. Tap a game to open its scoring screen (or a pre-game view if it has not started yet).
Scheduled games are also displayed for games that have not yet started. The scheduled screen shows team names, sport, and scheduled time. Scorekeepers can also start a scheduled game via a "Start Game" button that triggers the game filming to begin.
SCORING MADE EASY
For scorekeepers, the core benefit is wrist-based scoring. You can add points, move through sets, and keep the broadcast overlay in sync without unlocking your phone. The app supports Volleyball for now, with sport-specific period and scoring controls so the interface matches how the game is actually played. More sports are coming very soon!
MARK YOUR MOMENT
A standout feature is Moment marking, which is available even if you are not the scorekeeper. Fans and staff can tap to mark a highlight moment during live play, and if you have a favorite player set, the moment can be tagged automatically. This makes it easier to timestamp big plays in real time, even when you’re managing the madness that is live youth sports.
SMALL SCREEN, MAJOR FUNCTIONALITY
For scorekeepers who need a few extra controls, there is an admin area for actions like muting/unmuting the broadcast, undoing the most recent score, and ending the game when it is over. The app is also built to stay usable when connectivity is imperfect by updating the watch display immediately when you tap, then reconciling once the phone confirms the update.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE WATCH APP
If you already have BallerCam on iPhone, the Apple Watch app may install automatically. If not, open the Watch app on your iPhone, go to My Watch, scroll to Available Apps, and tap Install next to BallerCam.
You can also install directly from your watch: open the App Store on Apple Watch and search for ‘BallerCam.’”
