Important Device and Safety Information

Definition: "BallerCam devices" refers to all BallerCam-related hardware and accessories, including the BallerCam device (containing lens, cooling system, and external battery), mounting accessories, and any other BallerCam-branded hardware.

By using BallerCam devices, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Terms of Use (www.ballercam.com/policies/terms-of-service) and Privacy Policy (www.ballercam.com/policies/privacy-policy). Before using BallerCam devices, carefully read these safety instructions and keep them for future reference. These safety instructions are referenced in and form part of our Terms of Sale and Warranty Policy.

Safety Warnings

General Safety

  • Follow all warnings and instructions

  • Only use the attachments and accessories specified by BallerTV

  • Clean and dry the BallerCam device and lenses with the cloth included in the packaging

  • Do not place near any heat registers, stoves, or other sources that produce heat

  • Protect any cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at the plugs

  • Unplug BallerCam devices during storms or when unused for long periods of time

Battery Safety

WARNING: BallerCam devices contain lithium-ion batteries. Improper use may result in fire, explosion, or other hazards.

  • Do not expose BallerCam devices to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or similar sources

  • Do not puncture, crush, or disassemble the battery

  • If the battery appears swollen, damaged, or begins to emit smoke, discontinue use immediately

  • Dispose of batteries according to local regulations

  • Keep away from children

Temperature Guidelines

  • Operating Temperature: 32°F to 95°F (0°C to 35°C)*

  • Charging Temperature: 41°F to 91°F (5°C to 33°C)

  • Storage Temperature: 41°F to 77°F (5°C to 25°C)

*Note: Operating temperature may vary based on iPhone generation, performance settings, and environmental conditions. When operating BallerCam devices in temperatures above 95°F (35°C), your device might overheat, causing a safety shutdown. The device will be functional again after the temperature drops.

Installation and Setup Safety

  • You are solely responsible for the safe setup and installation of BallerCam

  • Ensure tripods and mounts are properly secured before use

  • Check that the mounting surface is stable and can support the combined weight of your iPhone and BallerCam

  • Do not install in locations where the equipment could fall and cause injury

  • Keep a safe distance from the playing field to avoid interference with players

  • All equipment should be installed and operated with more than 8 inches (20 cm) distance between the device and your body

Environmental Conditions

  • Do not expose BallerCam devices to excessive humidity or rain

  • Avoid exposing BallerCam devices to very cold or very hot temperatures

  • Low or high temperature conditions may temporarily shorten battery life or cause the device to temporarily stop working properly

  • Do not use in extreme weather conditions that could damage electronic components

Proper Use

  • BallerCam devices are designed exclusively for recording and streaming sports events

  • Any alterations or intentional opening of BallerCam devices will void the warranty

  • Use only as directed in the user manual

  • Do not use if the device appears damaged in any way

  • This product is not a toy - keep away from children

Regulatory Compliance

FCC Compliance (USA)

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

  1. This device may not cause harmful interference

  2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.

FCC RF Exposure Statement: This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance of 8 inches (20 cm) between the radiator and your body.

IC Compliance (Canada)

This device complies with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

  1. This device may not cause interference

  2. This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device

CE Compliance (Europe)

This product meets the EU requirements on the limitation of exposure of the general public to electromagnetic fields. The device complies with RF exposure specifications when used 20 cm or more from your body.

Maintenance and Care

  • Store in a cool, dry place when not in use

  • Regularly inspect for damage before each use

  • Do not attempt repairs yourself - contact BallerTV support

  • Use only BallerTV-approved accessories and replacement parts

  • BallerTV assumes no liability for physical damage to persons or property due to improper use, setup, or installation

  • Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury, death, or property damage

  • These instructions do not cover every possible situation - use common sense and caution
