Ballercam Basketball Setup Instructions

Step 1

Center your position & set your distance from sideline

Place Ballercam near mid-court & 2-3 ft from sideline

If you are setting up in bleachers, we strongly recommend in the center and at a lower row over a higher row.

Step 2

Tilt it Slightly

Tilt Camera 0-15 Degrees

Use your judgement based on distance from sideline and height. When in doubt, less tilt is better.

Step 3

Raise it

Raise Tripod 8 ft or higher

If you’re on the floor with a clear line of sight, any height works (higher is better to avoid people walking through the shot).

If anything is in front of you (tables, benches, spectators), set up at 8 ft+. Using the 15' tripod: extend at least two poles.

Step 4

Don't go too high

Lower is Better Than Higher in the Bleachers

If you're filming from the bleachers, it's better to be closer to the floor while still avoiding obstructions.
