With Basketball Scoreboard Detection, BallerCam’s advanced detection algorithm can find the physical scoreboard in the gym and turn it into a live on-screen overlay for viewers. Instead of relying on manual score entry, the stream shows the official scoreboard that is already being used in the venue. ONE-TAP DETECTION
The experience is designed to be simple for the person filming. Once a live stream is started and the scoreboard is visible in the camera view, the user can tap Detect Scoreboard and let BallerCam do the rest. If the system finds the scoreboard, it creates a preview and adds the overlay to the stream. From there, users can make small adjustments if needed, but the goal is to make setup quick and easy so they can get back to capturing the game.
FROM VENUE TO LIVESTREAM
This feature is especially useful in basketball gyms where the scoreboard may technically be visible on camera but still too far away or too small for viewers to read. At launch, Basketball Scoreboard Detection is available on iOS and works when the scoreboard is visible within the camera frame.
